We’re thrilled to welcome you to Igloo Island Domes, where comfort meets adventure on the beautiful island of Utila. Please take a moment to read these Terms & Conditions carefully, as they outline the policies that govern all reservations and stays with us. By booking through our website or any affiliated platform, you agree to these terms.
1. Reservations & Payments
All reservations require 100% payment upfront to confirm.
Accepted payment methods:
PayPal (instant confirmation)
Bank Transfer (BAC) — bookings remain in “Pending” status until manually confirmed.
BAC transfers must be completed within 4 hours of booking. If payment is not received within that time, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
The total price is displayed in USD, and refunds will be issued in the same currency when applicable.
In rare cases, refunds may be processed via bank transfer if authorized by management.
2. Cancellations & Modifications
Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in.
Within 7 days of check-in: non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies) at management’s discretion.
Date or room changes are allowed free of charge up to 7 days before check-in, depending on availability.

3. Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in: Flexible, depending on ferry arrival times.
Check-out: Latest at 2:00 PM to align with the 3:20 PM La Ceiba ferry.
Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged upon request, subject to availability.
4. Guest Conduct & Damages
Guests are expected to respect the property, staff, and other guests.
Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
Any intentional or excessive damage caused by guests may result in additional charges or legal action.
We trust our guests to act responsibly — Utila is a small island community where respect and cooperation matter.
5. Ferry & Transportation
Igloo Island Domes is not responsible for ferry delays, cancellations, or weather-related disruptions.
Guests can indicate their arrival ferry time at checkout.
Guests who do not provide an arrival time may not be met at the ferry terminal.
Ferry bookings are managed independently of Igloo Island Domes, and any disputes or refunds must be handled directly with the ferry operator.
6. Liability & Force Majeure
Igloo Island Domes is not liable for:
Personal injury, accidents, or medical issues during your stay.
Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
Travel delays, ferry cancellations, or other external disruptions.
Guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance before arrival.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., hurricanes, government restrictions, pandemics, or natural disasters), Igloo Island Domes reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel bookings without liability.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
7. Occupancy & Child Policy
Room capacity is clearly stated on each unit’s listing.
1-Queen Rooms: Up to 2 adults + 1 child (under 15).
2-Queen Rooms: Up to 4 adults or a combination of adults and children.
Children under 5: Stay free of charge.
Children aged 5–14: $40 USD per night surcharge.
15+ years old: Counted as an adult for pricing purposes.
Guests must accurately declare the number of adults and children at booking.
8. Privacy & Data Use
We collect guest information (name, email, phone, booking details, payment info) solely for reservation and communication purposes.
Data is securely stored on Hostinger servers and managed through WordPress + WP Hotelier.
We do not sell or share personal information except with:
Payment processors (PayPal)
Hosting and booking system providers
Ferry operators (if ferry assistance is requested)
Cookies may be used to enhance site functionality.
Guest data is retained for up to 24 months unless deletion is requested via email.
We may send occasional marketing communications to past guests who have opted in; unsubscribing is available at any time.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Honduras.
Any dispute or claim arising from your booking or stay shall be submitted to the Courts of La Ceiba, Atlántida, which have exclusive jurisdiction.
By booking with Igloo Island Domes, you acknowledge and agree to submit to this jurisdiction.
10. Changes to Terms
Igloo Island Domes reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any changes will be posted on this page and will take immediate effect for new bookings.
Guests with existing bookings will be notified if relevant changes affect their stay.
