Free Cancellation Window<\/strong><\/h2><ul style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"266\" data-end=\"680\"><li data-start=\"266\" data-end=\"382\"><p data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"382\">Guests may <strong data-start=\"279\" data-end=\"334\">cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of booking<\/strong>, regardless of their scheduled check-in date.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"383\" data-end=\"680\"><p data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"413\">After this 24-hour period:<\/p><ul data-start=\"416\" data-end=\"680\"><li data-start=\"416\" data-end=\"561\"><p data-start=\"418\" data-end=\"561\">If the check-in date is <strong data-start=\"442\" data-end=\"473\">seven (7) or more days away<\/strong>, the guest may still cancel for a <strong data-start=\"508\" data-end=\"558\">full refund minus transaction or transfer fees<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"680\"><p data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"680\">If the check-in date is <strong data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"623\">less than seven (7) days away<\/strong>, the booking becomes <strong data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"663\">non-refundable<\/strong> (see Section 3).<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"685\" \/><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"746\"><strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"746\">3. Cancellations Less Than 7 Days Before Check-In<\/strong><\/h2><ul style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"1224\"><li data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"881\"><p data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"881\">Once the 24-hour grace period has expired, all bookings with check-in dates within the next seven (7) days are <strong data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"878\">non-refundable<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"1048\"><p data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"1048\">Guests who cancel in this period are <strong data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"949\">not entitled to a refund<\/strong>, except in rare, documented cases (medical emergencies, ferry cancellations, or severe weather).<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1224\"><p data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1110\">At management\u2019s discretion, guests may be offered either:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1224\"><li data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1177\"><p data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1177\">A <strong data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1132\">date change<\/strong> without fees (subject to availability), or<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1224\"><p data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1224\">A <strong data-start=\"1184\" data-end=\"1202\">partial credit<\/strong> toward a future stay.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><hr \/><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>4 Modifications to Booking Dates or Units<\/strong><\/h2><ul style=\"text-align: left;\"><li style=\"text-align: left;\"><p><strong>\u2265 7 days before check-in:<\/strong> Date or unit changes allowed, no penalty (subject to availability).<\/p><\/li><li><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>&lt; 7 days before check-in:<\/strong> Changes handled case-by-case; management may offer new dates if available.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr \/><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>5 Payment Method and Refunds<\/strong><\/h2><ul style=\"text-align: left;\"><li><p><strong>PayPal:<\/strong> Refunds issued to the same PayPal account. Processing times depend on PayPal policies.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Bank Transfer (BAC):<\/strong> Refunds may be returned to the original account or another Honduran account upon guest request. Transfer fees are borne by the guest.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Refunds are always processed in <strong>USD<\/strong>, unless otherwise agreed in writing.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Administration reserves up to <strong>7 business days<\/strong> to process refunds after approval.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr \/><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>6 No-Shows &amp; Early Departures<\/strong><\/h2><ul style=\"text-align: left;\"><li><p><strong>No-show:<\/strong> No refund; booking treated as cancelled after the first night without notice.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Early departure:<\/strong> No refund for unused nights once checked in.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr \/><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>7 Force Majeure &amp; External Disruptions<\/strong><\/h2><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Igloo Island Domes is not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by:<\/p><ul style=\"text-align: left;\"><li><p>Ferry or air transport disruptions,<\/p><\/li><li><p>Storms, rain, lightning, or other weather events,<\/p><\/li><li><p>Power outages, water interruptions, or other infrastructure failures, or<\/p><\/li><li><p>Government actions, strikes, or public emergencies.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: left;\">At its discretion, management may offer to reschedule the stay without penalty.<\/p><hr \/><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>8 Cancellation by Property Owner<\/strong><\/h2><p style=\"text-align: left;\">If Igloo Island Domes must cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (maintenance, safety, overbooking), guests will receive a <strong>full refund<\/strong> or may select alternative dates. This refund constitutes the full extent of liability.<\/p><hr \/><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>9 Procedure to Cancel or Modify<\/strong><\/h2><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Guests may:<\/p><ol style=\"text-align: left;\"><li><p>Cancel directly via the link in their confirmation email, <strong>or<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p>Email <strong><a href=\"igloodomesutila@gmail.com\">igloodomesutila@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong> with the booking ID and reason for cancellation.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Once received, our team will confirm receipt and process according to the above rules.<\/p><hr \/><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>10 BAC Transfer Deadline (Non-Payment)<\/strong><\/h2><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Bank Transfer (BAC) payments must be completed within <strong>4 hours of booking<\/strong>. If proof of payment is not received within that window, the reservation is automatically cancelled to free inventory for other guests.
